Domaine de l’Ubaye presentation
Our Domaine de l’Ubaye is located at an altitude of 1,055 m, in the heart of the Ubaye valley. Surrounded by magnificent peaks often exceeding 3000m (Brec du Chambeyron).
The river “Ubaye” runs alongside the Domaine, allowing you to splash about or daydream on our private beach.
From the campsite, direct departures are possible with rafting, kayaking or hydrospeed. The little ones (and the older ones, too!) will also have fun with their own buoys!
At the Domaine, you can enjoy :
● Comfortable cottages for 4 to 6 people, with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, living room, shower room, WC and washbasin, a terrace with garden furniture and a small garden.
● Mobile homes for 4 to 6 people, with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, living room, shower room, WC and washbasin, terrace with garden furniture.
● Luxury “Glamping” lodges with 2 or 3 bedrooms, kitchenette with dishwasher, living room, shower room, WC and washbasin, air conditioning, terrace with lounge, garden furniture.
● “Coco Sweet” tent: a compromise between tent and mobile home… A new camping concept for fun vacations!
● Large camping pitches, delimited, equipped with electricity, with + or – shade
Ubaye Valley
Between Lac de Serre-Ponçon and the Italian border, 150 km from the Côte d’Azur (Nice) lies the fabulous Ubaye Valley.
Both on the lower slopes (where the Domaine is located) and on the upper slopes (towards Saint-Paul sur Ubaye), you’ll discover, smell and love the new setting for your vacation!
+ More than 1,000 km of trails to discover the lush countryside, picturesque mountain villages and 80 high-altitude lakes…

The Ubaye valley is known for :
● the valley with the largest number of wild flowers

What motivates us so much…
Before 2016
As former owners of the “Roucan West” campsite in Vias Plage, we took our first steps into the world of outdoor accommodation.
We are now putting all our experience and knowledge to work on this fabulous estate.
2016
The “Roucan West” campsite has been taken over and we’re looking for a larger site in a different setting.
Our aim is to make the Domaine de l’Ubaye a TOP place for everyone, in every respect.
2017
In 2017, we are starting to “upgrade” the campsite:
● installation of a WIFI system covering the entire estate
● new Restaurant
● new reception
● Indoor and outdoor fitness
● TV room for children
● renovation of the supermarket
● luxury rental purchases
● educational farm
2018
in 2018, we are continuing our “renovation path “:
● complete renovation of the pool area, with new filtration systems, installation of a heat pump, new deck and deckchairs
● installation of a food-truck
● renovation of a sanitary block
● installation of 3-bedroom Glampings with river views
2019
2019 is also a year of renewal:
● new 3-bedroom “Glamping” accommodations.
